Newsletter July 2017
Dear Parents and Carers
We have had such a fantastic term it is hard to choose which highlights I should include within this newsletter, there is so much to look back on and celebrate since the last newsletter. The Tall Ships Challenge was once again a great success and my thanks go to the staff and boys for all the commitment they have shown.
The kindness and thoughtfulness shown by the boys’ willingness to participate in the sponsored walk and other fund raising events around the school to raise money for the Guide Dogs was inspiring.
Just this week we have enjoyed a football tournament with South Harting School and presented our summer production. We have received a wonderful email from the Head at South Harting saying how much their boys and girls had enjoyed the tournament too. Whilst in the Summer Production we saw many of our boys showcase their talents to a very appreciative audience. I was so very proud of all the boys when I watched both of these events, as they so clearly demonstrated our key values of Respect, Excellence and Friendship.
That’s not to say the boys have not also been working hard, it has been a pleasure to read their reports which truly evidence the progress they have made and the many achievements they have recorded. Thank you to all the staff and boys who have worked together to create a really positive attitude to learning.
I shall really miss working within this wonderful community. It has been such a privilege to work alongside such brilliant boys and wonderfully supportive parents and carers, thank you. I hope you all have a wonderful summer break and come back happy and ready to work hard for Ms Ridgwell next year. I look forward to attending the PACT events and hearing how well you are all doing.
